At the Champagne & Fine Wine Show in Örebro 24-25 of October 2007 many of the visitors were astonished by the high quality and the great smooth taste of Sweden's newest cognac, Kazumian Cognac. Kazumian Cognac can be easily described in just a few word: "It's True classic, in a modern way"
Kazumian Cognac is developed by the international well known Russian-Armenian winemaker and importer Suren Kazumian in cooperation with one of France most famous cognac producers Meukow &
Cie, owned by CCG (Compagnie Commercial de Guyenne).
Meukow & Cie was established in 1862 by the Silesian brothers Auguste-Christophe and Gustave Meukow who have been sent over to France by tsar Alexander II with the assignment of supplying the Russian Royal Court with French cognac. The company history convinced Suren Kazumian he had found his perfect partner.
Together with Claude Merchadou, one of the best "noses" in Cognac, and the hereditary Master of Cognac Claude Brugerolle, Suren Kazumian has created three different cognac that is being presented to the Swedish market; Kazumian VS, VSOP and XO. With its new, beautiful and refined taste, COGNAC KAZUMIAN keeps a name of its creator. A white pigeon on the bottle, symbolicaly bringing a good message, is announcing a renewal of the old good traditions, connecting us with the future.
